Ok i have currently an 06 Tacoma with a 3' lift and thats the only mod ive done to it, now being in high school its hard to afford payments for this truck, i dont know if it would be best to sell it and go back and try to buy my 01 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Edition already with 3' lift on 33' tires, custom stereo, exhaust, everything ive put on it since i got it 2 years ago and then sold it, the payments for that jeep if i sold the truck and got it back would be basically near nothing because the price difference, what do you think i should do?

No offense, but my advice would be to stop the vicious cycle of being in over your head and buy something you can actually afford without payments. You can get something nicer and more expensive later. Just my personal opinion.

Yea no joke, the close to $300 dollars a month payments for the truck are draining me and holding me back from getting to go out and be a teen, being in sports i have camps and stuff all summer long so i can work only part time and barely have enough made for a payment and gas for the month, ha girlfriend isnt too happy anymore that i dont have money anymore to take her out

    I've got a couple questions....

Are you making payments? or are your parents making payments?

When you go to college - are you living at home? Or are you living in the dorm?

Yea i got the truck 3 monthes ago and i was working part time making only like $400 a month, i am able to do it and still afford gas but thats it, thats all i can do pretty much all summer. So if i went back to the jeep, i will have it completely paid off, so ill be making that much or more and just have to spend on gas and then whatever i want this summer.

I had a Jeep in High School and loved it!!! I'm 28 now and wouldn't want a Jeep again as my daily driver. I would say get the Jeep enjoy it and drive what you can afford. Note, I ended up selling my Jeep in college becuase it was too expensive to drive; by by Jeep hello 4 cyl accord.

I think every young guy should own a Jeep a least once. When I say Jeep I mean CY, YJ, TJ etc.

Yea, it was a Jeep Wrangler TJ Sahara Edition, really nice, everybody loved it, ha my girlfriend was sooooooo pissed when i sold it and said i would eventually regret selling it, and now i have, but it was practicly part of me and just seeing a Tacoma i jumped at it and wasnt the best decision financially right now, i got this Tacoma for 14 grand, just unbelievably cheap and got it inspected and was in great condition so i think ill be able to make a good profit out of it and buy my jeep back.

Save your money. You will be happier in the long run. At the end of the day, it's just a car.

Yea thats what im thinking, i dont want to have to work my ass off to be able to pay for it so i cant even have money to have fun at all, i can still have fun in that jeep, just if i want to travel anywhere its kind of a pain in the ass, but atleast its paid off and theres one less thing to stress about.
