I may have to find or make a vector drawing for his signature and start making these in black. Guess I have a project for today now.

Good morning everyone. Today is going to be a long Monday, I can already tell. Walked into work at 630 and everyone was primed for bitching. These are the days I hate my job. Anyone hiring right now, especially in the $19-50/ hour range? This jobs pay is for the birds.

Well congrats, that is the first step. I quit cold Turkey when the price of a pack jumped $.20. Best decision I made. Felt so much better.

Wow that was a lot weird and scary at the same time. Awesome video, and all the turtles showed up as well.

Were they bitching or were they whining? There's a huge difference you need to keep in mind, and it will hopefully make you reconsider the act of complaining.

Bitching: where an individual or group is gathered and listing complaints, the better to identify or order them, that they will then go forth and accomplish. The key here is that the person or people doing the bitching are planning to solve their own problems.
Whining: where an individual or group is listing complaints that they expect someone else to solve for them.

Bitching is a God-given right that shall not be infringed. Whining will not be tolerated.

As far as employment goes, it depends on what your degree is in and skills are.

Well this was about why I am not wearing a tie, why I was late, why I dont seem to care anymore, what is going on. Blah blah blah. My question to management is, if you see your employees unhappy, why aren't you doing something to address their unhappiness? Maybe instead of starting the day of with berating you should take an interest.

Well my major background is Public Safety, Emergency Management, but have some General Contracting, landscaping, heavy equipment, Transportation, Carpentry, metal Fab, agribusiness.

I am mostly versatile and can learn just about anything. And the more it pays over $9/ hour, the more motivated I am.

Why are you relying on management to determine whether your work environment is happy or not? I don't. My management has other things to worry about. I am responsible for whether my workplace is enjoyable, and control my actions and work relationships so that it doesn't suck. I've worked in places that had a crappy environment, and found that a few people at the bottom taking charge to see that "things don't suck" is far, far more effective than waiting for a manager to make things better for you.

Holy crap, I put my MSgt stripes back on there. Sorry about that - going back into retiree mode now.
