Jack the truck up and take the wheel off. Then use a 14" 1/4" punch or longer to turn the coil adjuster. Just undo the set screw. If the threads are clean should move fine. What coils are on them?

 

700s ouch.

The longer punch will give you leverage.

 

3/8" punch! Quarter will wallow the fuckers out fast

 

You can and should do it with a punch, icons are easy, done mine a few times. I don't even take all the weight off and I use a little bit of wd40. Punch and a jack handle for leverage

Well either way. You can rebuild them however you want.

 

Biggest one in the set is your new best friend. Also that just means yours are standard not extended.

 

How free do your arms move though, chances are they went down a bit whereas you have to fight the swaybar on the runner. I usually have to push my arms down a bit with my icons tho

 

Sway bar definitely holds up the lcas a lot.

Couldn't even run a sway bar with the king's on Igor.

You can get lots that are long. 12-14" long is best

 

Wash them first and use some
Lube. Those 700s will make it jump the track easy. So only loosen the top collar enough to rotate it but not be there freely. Also I use 2 punches, way easier to rotate it.

 

Both vehicles need alignments.

 

32*F here this morning. Quaccuweather predicts the 1st snow on October 26th. Frost this morning, I think it'll be here earlier.

 

You get all the good stuff - I had 42 this morning. And a fire to take the chill away.

 

That's gonna be tough on gardens. We've had low 40's several times in the last week, I love it. I like it best when the highs are in the 20's. Still warn enough to be comfortable, but cold enough that there is no mud. I hate mud.

 

What part of Wyo are you in?

 

Near Sheridan.

 

I'll keep that in mind. I always seem to break down around Sheridan or just have plain bad luck when I'm in town. I've just been blasting by lately to avoid it. Buffalo is a good place to get gas.

 

We just bought a Tundra in June so I won't be bringing my jalopy through Sheridan on our way to the cabin in Montana anymore though.

 

I'm guessing you take Hwy 16 over the bighorns? I've always liked Hwy 14 better.
