    Not enough.

Only one way to find out.

Houston CnC is on the first Saturday of each month, and when I went at the beginning of August, it was a shit show for multiple reasons. But if we get there ass-early we can always give it a shot.

Or we can take over the Kemah Home Depot show.

Don't forget that I have your swag.

    Excellent idea.

Don't forget, I have your swag.

    Look at some boobs.

    Doesn't matter who you are.

    Everyone loves boobs.

Those definitions really need to be on a laminated card and given to everyone at birth.

Is the job market in Austin that tough? I can't imagine its too difficult especially with your stated background.

I mostly agree with you, MSgt Captain. However, once management fosters and sustains a toxic work environment, or does nothing about a toxic work environment, eventually that stink will permeate though any positivity. In that case, the only healthy solution is to leave IMHO. But to piggyback off what you said if you're miserable at your job for any reason, it's time to do a little soul searching.

Life is too short to spend it miserable.

I have a strange warmth in my pants.

I think you meant HOUSTON will be the next invasion target.

Honestly, it sounds like it's time to spread your wings elsewhere if for no other reason than to recharge your soul.

Nah, don't fret. That pressure relief valve cracks every once in awhile.

    Congratulations bud!

    0400? That's sleeping in.

    We keep shit interesting hurr.

Don’t feel bad about a Monday rant, left south Austin about 7:00 and my truck broke down about 8:45 in Boerne. I’m 2 miles from the job site and the transmission won’t go in gear. Just got it back from the dealership three weeks ago for the same issue.

That is my consensus as well. Truly it's about 2 years too late, but never a time like the present to get and start changing some things.

Thanks @Biscuits, I agree. The problem with my field in Austin is EVERYONE has a bachelors, so to weed out better candidates they require a Masters at minimum, and 10 years to exclude any youngins. I have the time, a Master in Engineering, not in Public Safety. I have 12 classes left to get my Bachelors in Public Admin, then 2 more years for the Masters. I have over 180 hours of FEMA and Govt training, 15 years of in field hand on experience. It's just that piece of paper that is stopping me.
