I had to stand on the rear tire when I did this. Now I keep it in the bed.

I think it’s all pretty much dealt with on the website now mate.

 

Right, but we (those who bought, those are are interested) do not know where we are at with the GB.

I guess I just want to know how close we are to meeting to order.

 

Ah, I’d message him via the website or here as I know he travels allot for work and often to remote places with no broadband.

haven't heard any news reports for a while from the guys who got the last shipment

My tent has been serving me well. Three trips so far since I took delivery of it. I use a thermarest base camp sleeping pad for extra cushion and I like that I can keep the pad, sleeping bag, bag liner, and pillow inside when I close it up. I did find the cinch straps annoying to deal with so I removed two from each end and replaced the remaining four with sea to summit quick release buckles.

I have a decision to make at the end of this summer as to keep the tent or sell it due to not being able to fit in the garage anymore and my desire to move on from the Tacoma and build up a GX470.

 

Been waiting for some kind of update before pulling the trigger on it.
Was just messing around on the website and the "preorder" code does not seem to even work.

Sorry for the lack of communication on my part, I’ve been extremely busy with work, life, and selling my tacoma. I had a handful of people back out so it only puts the buy that much farther back. Unfortunately this group buy runs on the commit of others and not myself.

At this point I would rather refund orders, close the purchasing option on the website, start a list and when enough people are committed on here I can open the site for purchasing. I had hoped for a faster commitment time but the website didn’t seem to really help

 

Bummer. Let me know what you decide to do.

 

I had my eye on these tents for my next one.. I hope things work out, so I can get in on one.

 

Darn I would love one of those type of Tents but they are just plain too small for the 6' 2 Guys

The interior will actually fit basically a Full, not a Queen. I have the large with an Exped Megamat Duo 10 if you want to look up those dimensions, and it fits perfectly but requires a little subtraction of space at each corner because of the rams connection to the bottom of the tent. You can definitely fit two in it, comfortably.
