    Back to the San Antonio Meetup, I'm all for going to that pizza joint..... BUT. . . is there someplace else we could meet, go swimming, and then after a few hours head towards the pizza.... Maybe something a bit more family oriented?
    I just figured since most have families that may want a break from all the truck stuff, to show others that we're not just about trucks..... Even if secretely we are..... Just a suggestion.

    Yes.
    It'll be keeping the two laptops running that'll be the problem. I'm going to have:

    An Icom IC-7300 connected to a buddypole.
    A 2m Alinco with an internal TNC connected to a Thinkpad X201 running Xastir. That thinkpad will also be connected to the IC-7300 for digital mode stuff.

    I'll have an HT connected to a Chromebook via a Bluetooth TNC. The chromebook will be running APRSDroid.

    And I'll need to keep all the radios and computers powered for all of two days. I picked up a 1000w Bestek inverter. I'm going to also look at putting a solar charge controller and two 100w panels in the Tundra to keep the battery up without having to run the truck.
