Anyone in NY???

We're a touch South of Utica but I'm game for meeting ya at bass pro. I created the event in Tacoma beach and off-road too. Might get a couple extra guys from there.

 

Is it the “dirty south chapter”? That’s all I can see on Facebook?

Im down for a caravan. What is the camping situation? Just a tent works? Trying to talk myself into a roof tent but dont know if i will really use it.

I'm hoping @Stockmonester can weigh in on good campgrounds up there. Just found out that my land isn't going to work out that weekend. I know Whetstone is a popular spot.

 

Anybody lookin for a site can check stysh's brown barn in boonville. I dont have much info on hand but its only 15 min utes from snow ridge

This place has some nice camp grounds, there is state land up there to camp on but its close to swamps heavy black flies

Those flies are no joke. I like the Stysh’s Brown Barn idea.

 

if i wasnt 40ish mins away id probably camp out too

 

If I can't find a decent spot in state lands, I'll probably goto the otter Creek camp grounds/horse trails. Nice area to camp at, no reservation required and it's free.

I'd love to come out, maybe even convoy with @Sub_Par but that's far too long of a drive for me. It sucks cause I have the day off too but have family obligations. Maybe in the future we could do a Sunday gathering. My only days off are unfortunately, Sunday/Monday.

If you’re coming from the South, a number of us are meeting at Bass Pro Shops in Utica. Leaving there by 8:30 am on Saturday morning to arrive at Snow Ridge by 10:00am.

I’ll meet you guys at the ski area on Saturday! If my bilsteins make it in I may be lifted!

Anyone use CB? Trying to get that set up in the truck this week too. May slack if nobody else has one though.
