Not in this case, you wouldn't.

Has anyone else noticed? That guy has been shit posting in several threads lately..

One liners, just trying to stir things up. I'm not even going to look into his post history, because I already know what I'm going to find.

Haha I noticed this too. Saw the "This is BULLSHIT" post in the manual ECU update thread and then this.

It also has a hand trunk in the bed of the truck(That no one cares about since it's a truck and that's the point of the bed)

lmao only a fool would follow toyota's factory guidelines. Sheep!!!! If you dont do 2,000 mile changes your engine will shoot out the top of your hood. Don't worry though, your transmission is off in a deer stand hunting for gears so it will be safe when this catastrophic meltdown occurs!!!!

Maybe not, but it does swing both ways. :D
Lets not forget about the apple car play/android auto capability too.
Oh yea, while I'm stirring it up, what about those height adjustable seats.

2,000 miles, you are pushing it.
I stop at every quick lube place on my way home. So I typically get my oil changed twice a day 5 days a week. I want this truck to last me a long time.

Realistically, what many people on here secretly want is a Ridgeline with the Tacoma body. Seriously. After reading many posts on "I wish" topics, a lot of people want all the features of a Ridgeline and the body of a Tacoma. They just won't accept the Tacoma for what it is... a truck.

I'm not going to lie, I almost bought a Ridgeline when the first 2017s hit the lot here. The only thing that held me back was the ground clearance. Everything else was great about it.

Funny, there used to be this kid that came into the shop that I did oil changes for about 2 yrs. Then he stopped coming. One day his car pulled up on a flat bed. I asked what happened, he said he did an oil change & it started smoking bad then wouldn't start anymore.

So I asked how much oil he put in, exactly 4 quarts, 98 Honda Civic. Ok, how did the old oil look & did it look close to 4 quarts when you drained it? He said what do you mean drain the old oil, I though it just runs out & you add new oil when it was time to change the oil. Well that's why it's called an oil change & not an oil fill!

actually there is someone on the forum that gets oil analysis done every 10k (oil change interval) and there is zero issues with doing this under "normal" operating conditions.

I agree. But, I am willing to bet fewer and fewer people actually check their dipsticks these days. Spare tires are slowly disappearing from cars. Dipsticks will too eventually.

Spare tires have been diapearing because of MPG standards. I would personally not want any vehicle that didn't have one as I get too many flats, lol.
