Nice set up! I like how Yakima’s clamps grab the extruded aluminum cross members nicely

Thanks! They are meant for an oval crossbar according the the REI dude, but they have square notches that are almost the same dimension as the prinsu crossbar. I had some difficulty getting them on at first but once the sun heated them up they slid right on. I had been looking at some cheaper ones on Amazon but they all had like a metal plate on the bottom that screws into the main part, and I thought there might be clearance issues.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Pretty good. Just made a day trip out of it. One of the SD cards in one of my cameras wasn't fricken formatted, so I didn't get any shots from it. The other cam got quite a few shots of deer, but none of them are shooters. The trail it's on is pretty active though. Looks like there's movement on it just about every night... also some movement during the day.

I think the bucks are still at a higher elevation do to the heat, and everything seems to be moving mostly at night... but that's ok right now... hopefully it stays that way through archery season. And hopefully they open 5N01 soon. Seems like there's a lot more activity (people/hunters) in our area than normal with 5N01 closed.

I have a bad feeling it may be closed to anyone that doesn't have property back there for the rest of the season.

Probably all depends on how long it takes them to do their safety inspections and remove any hazards, but I can see them focusing less on backcountry stuff until everything off the main hwy is checked out.

Yo I can’t remember...do you have sliders on your truck? I know a guy who’s going to be selling his BAMF 1st gen DCSB sliders soon. Weld on.

No, I don't have sliders. But I would be more than willing to put some on if the price is right

Hey, at least I ordered some tinned 4 guage lugs and marine grade heat shrink for the dual battery today... that's staying on track.

Has anyone had their exhaust rerouted for skids locally? I'm thinking the BAMF skid trilogy is going to be my next big mod.

Nice! I have been scouring craigslist for a deal on a kayak as well. Pinecrest is a good time, I'd be fishing though.

Bang for your buck, the wilderness tarpon has a lot to offer and the seats are much better than most others in its price range. Just my 2 cents.
