    Could be. Might take it in for a rotate and balance and get another free alignment after I go wheeling this weekend.

    EDIT: FYI for between $150-200 (depending on if there's a sale/special going on) Firestone offers a Lifetime Alignment service. Pay once, unlimited free alignments as long as you own the vehicle!

    @gulzeb,

    Honor and character would dictate that you return the found one to Home Depot.

    UPS and Home Depot manned up and made good on their side of the bargin, you should man up and do the same..

    It is not rightfully yours, no matter how you justify it

    Most stores won’t even take it, messes with their inventory.

    I once had a company ship me 2 pairs of shoes when I only order one. I called them to return the second, they said no problem sorry for the mistake. They emailed me a return shipping label. I sent it back and 1 week later they refunded my money. I called them a again and was pretty rudely told to just be happy their mistake nothing else they could do. My conscious would have rather got two for one vrs one for none....

    @photoguy190,

    Your experience at one store is not most MOST stores, nor is about @gulzeb presuming the item that now has two of is his to keep or justifying keeping due to your experience with one store.

    It is about honor, morals and character.

    If @gulzeb man's up and makes a legitmate attempt to return something that is not rightfully his and Home Depot declines it, then by all means, he should keep it.

    JL

    And may your car mechanic, your financial consultant, your wife or girlfriend's best friend and everyone else in your life live up to the standards and expectations that "your conscience allows".

    May you be a fine role model to all-- and the person your wife/children, parents and pastor hoped you would become.

    ...Which is why we unfortunately need laws

    Nor am I the one that will ultimately judge.

    In effect, all I am saying was make your own decision and my hope is that you are repaid 10 fold either way good or bad.

    It always amuses me that those potentially making questionable moral decisions are the ones that justify and take umbrage when a spotlight is shown on them

    I am not perfect. I will shine up my moral police badge a little to get any tarnish off it.

    Spent a long time once going in circles when I thought I was going straight.

    Until I found my compass!
