Replaced the Dunflops at 500 miles. Sold them on Craigslist.

Replaced the stock Rugged Trails somewhere around 40k. They were definitely worn but could’ve gone further. I also wanted 265/75s and a more aggressive A/T.

I’m at 91k now and still have my Toyo AT2s from my 40k swapout. I’m going to be changing those out for new tires prior to winter. While they do well on dry asphalt, they have worn a bit weird, due in part to my laziness in having them rotated regularly.

The past few years I have only gotten 40K on my bfg KOs. Prior I was getting 48K on my previous 3 sets. Disappointing.

Why is this thread still going? Tires are tires they wear out. If you get 30k out of your stock tires your doing good. Lets move on to more important things, like can i fit a big block or will a 205 transfer case adapt to a a750f trans

Thanks for the info. I know about the tread depth, that's why I know I'm going to replace soon. Just curious to see how much you guys got out of your stock tires.

30k on both my Tacomas, 70k on my first 4Runner, and 50K on my second 4Runner. Toyota used to put Michelins on their trucks which is why i got 70K out of m first set of tires on my first 4Runner, (they where over due but not by much). I dont recall what was on my 01 Tacoma but i want to say they where Michelins also..

I will say stock tires suck basically for anything other than road driving, which is why i change mine out so quick on the Tacos, the wife drives the 4runners so i usually let them ride a bit longer. She jacked up her tires on the second 4runner due to not having them rotated and her front end needed aligned so it chewed them up real bad. I basically used it as an excuse to put a set of General Grabber AT2's on it though :p lol

I dumped my stock tires at 19k, because that’s when I bought the truck. It was February up north and the stock tires were horrible in the snow.

I swapped at 30k because the stock tires sucked.
I won’t drive on shitty tires regardless of how much tread is left.

I love my Firestone Destination A/Ts. Going on 55k with them and no sign I’m gonna replace them anytime soon.

I replaced my stock BFG rugged trail at around 60k. Would have last longer had I kept it balanced.
anyway, switched to Firestone Destination AT, truck is now at 90k and tires still look new. I think I paid around $700-$800 with lifetime alignment at firestone back in 2015. I had an alignment and all tires balanced only recently when truck hit 90k miles. truck tires are not cheap, so I want to make sure they last.

This was my post back in 2015 when I got the new tires.

I have been very impresed with the Destinations. Great tread wear and they are nice a quiet.

The only off roading I do is a little bit if trails and fields for hunting. I also live in an area that sees snow regularly in the winter. Performance for me has been great.

I paid $900 for a set of 5 (I bumped up a tire size snd need my spare to match) with warranty and lifetime balance and rotation.

I also religiously rotate every 5,000 miles.

I’m glad to see yours are lasting to 90k. I hope mine make it to 100k.

I have never had a tire last as long as this current set I have and these still have a lot of life.

the got the tires at 60k, so they have 30k use on it now the truck is 90k. The tires are rated 50k, so if your tires are in good shape after 55k, I won't be surprised if they last to 90-100k.

Have the Bridgestone Dueler H/T 684II 265/65R17 OEM tires on my 2012 Taco and have 84k on them. Not quite down to the wear bars yet on all 4 as they are wearing equal. Mostly city/highway no off road. Will probably replace before this winter and going back with the exact tire as they are wearing great and ride nice.

I experienced the same lack of snow performance in the Rugged Trails. Replaced them at 15K with Cooper ATPs.

The Coopers were cheap and performed well but did not last as long as I had hoped. I only got about 40K out of them before hitting the wear bars. I'm hard on tires, apparently. I did get a decent credit for them from Discount, which was good because I decided to replace them with KO2s :spending:
