Any of you guys run the WABDR section 1 recently? Any tips/advice? looking to run it here in about 2 weeks.

We did half of WABDR a few weeks ago. Nothing of importance although there was a closed road somewhere and we had to double back around as you can see but if you stick to the trial it was fine. @drr you remember where it was? I was pretty gone by then lol.

 

Just flip it upside down and leave it loose. What could go wrong?

Thats what im thinking too, but then id have to buy a bunch of shit and another battery to make use of this deal.

 

Yeah FS 7100 is closed near Beehive Reservoir, just southwest of Wenatchee. I would recommend sticking closer to 97 once you get near Diamond Head.

thanks! Going to be the first time running it figured i'd start with section 1 and go from there in weekend jaunts.

 

Was up there last week. Stuck fairly close to the WABDR, but made some adjustments here and there. The only road that I saw closed was the 23 road. The map shows the rout we took and the approximate location of where the 23 road is closed. The map is a quick and dirty one, but should help.

 

Im going to be selling my Tepui Autana Ruggedized RTT in case anyone is interested here before I post it on CL. Used maybe 15 nights, almost 3 years old, stored inside when not used.

 

Yeah I used to be a fan but lately I'm not all that impressed.

 

That's not necessarily a jump, but i think it will pass.
