I do a sinus rinse and Rhinocort for the upper sinus. Just can't break the infection.

Sinus infections are awful. I just got through taking back to back doses of antibiotics for mine. I think the bad air quality isnt helping us out either.

Yeah, the doc said the same to me too. Until he ran into a narrow merge lane mid-arm and nicked it. It bled a bit under my skin, which was no big deal... until it turned into a nasty bruise, and son of a bitch that thing hurt like hell. Short of being shot, I've been injured just about every way you can, and I'll tell you the pain from that "little bruise" was like nothing I've ever felt. I didn't sleep more than an hour or so at a time for a week. Here's what it looked like after it faded a bit and I was coherent enough to take a picture...

Oh, those "stripes" were self inflicted. They're from overtightening the compression wrap while being loaded up on blood thinners.

Surgically-caused hematoma, a.k.a. a bruise. I bled under my skin into a little half-egg shaped pocket. The doc massaged it out to break it up, and the blood spread down the arm muscles. No biggie until the water gets absorbed back into circulation but the platelets etc turn into a kind of glue in between the muscle fibers and put the hurt on. Or something like that.

The running joke around our family was that I got a crocodile skin tattoo.

That may be too personal, what I was wondering is if it was anything to do with a heart cath. Reason is I think I may be having one and was wondering what the experience was like.

I was chiming in on the cardiac stent thread. Sometimes they go in through the groin, but the recent trend is to go through the wrist for (typically) faster recovery.

Still, if I had to redo it, I'd have em go through the wrist again. I don't need some 23 year old orderly mowing the ol' front lawn.

LMAO ! Yeah, I heard if your veins are good enough they can use them. And thanks for the orderly info, hadn't thought of that.

They are telling me the only way to be absolutely sure nothing is wrong with my heart is to go in and look. They don't see any probs with the scans but a cath is the best way to be sure.
