Can anyone give me any suggestions on which kind of intake would be best with my magnaflow exhaust on an 08 taco?

im in the same spot you are at... well i dont have on a magnaflow yet, but it is a coming.

from what i hear from the other people on TW to do, is get a Drop-In AFE Pro-Dry S Air Filter and remove your secondary air filter (there is a how-to post on this). Unless you plan on getting into the high RPMs (above 3500) then get a Cold Air Intake.

I have not done anything to mine, but these are the things I am planning to get done.

By the way, you have AFE's Custumer Service in your town.

I think they are too expensive, i was even going to get it at price ( a friend of mine is a Toyota dealer). plus they only come with a 3 year, 36000 mile warrenty, even when the dealer installs it

How much is the afe kit and do you happen to know the warranty? Does it void the factory warranty?

check autoanything.com or ebay for the price. as to the warrenty thing, google magnuson-moss warrenty act, and that will explain everyting to you.
