Your truck would look cool if it were painted flat black. Kids call it murdered out over here.

Nice Truck!! Thanks for posting I’ve been curious how having the two different wheel widths would look.

Well shit, I'm sold. I've been back and forth on 3.5" BS F5's, but wasn't totally convinced on how they look on our third gens. Looks amazing, congrats.

The real question.. bronze or gunmetal on cement?

Thanks! Perfect fitment on the 3rd gens IMO. Stance is on point. Pics really don't do it justice but having no lift and a smaller tire size and it still looks dominating on the road or trail. Can't go wrong with either... Starting to feel like bronze might be the new black tho.. To be honest I think 17" deep dish in black would look best on cement, not gunmetal.

Getting smoked out by ALL the raging fires.. and pot smokers. More so the fires in British Columbia. WORST fire season of all up here... Smoke from the south and west blowing into southern alberta.. This graphic has gained many fires since July. And thanks! I assume you mean the "gold" lug nuts? or bronze wheels? Stock suspension with a whole lotto trimming.. lol

What size tire are you running? I like the SCS bronze because it's still very dark, not gold like some other brands. I have mixed feelings on black... although they look good, they also look cheap to me.

You're absolutely correct, the color is perfect. Agreed on the black too, overdone and not quite right on the F5's IMO. Running the biggest tires I can with these wheels and no lift 265/70/17

Ya, I’m planning on going the 265/75r16 route. These choices are giving me acid reflux. #firstworldproblems

HAHA that should be an adequate size without a lift, but lots of trimming. Mind you the 16"S are .5" narrower.. So "some" trimming.

Isn't it generally accepted that 265/70r17 and/OR 265/75r16 are the max that will fit without modications?

Correct but the offset and BS of these wheels will create a scrub radius that will cause you issues.

Ah, ok. I'm assuming it must be a sidewall issue, then? All else being equal, the 265/70r17 fits better?

Right where the sidewall meets the tread. Rubs on the cab mount and various pieces of plastic on both the front and back of the wheel well. Not a lot of trimming but the CMC is most important.
Again, considering you're interested in the 16" wheel even though they have the same offset and backspacing as the 17" wheel you will be 0.5" narrower so less trimming will likely be required.
