    I wanna go in with someone for some buffalo... stock the freezer with that for a bit :hungry:

    Yeah, amazing Prime brisket can be $3-4/lb in store but can't find any online... :annoyed:

    in looking for brisket online I wound up on Creekstone Farms site. This review...

    I bought a 14-16lb Brisket. Smoked at ~250-280 degrees for 7 hours, in an off set smoker. Then as I was coming out of the stall ~ 169 degrees I wrapped it with butcher paper and put it in the oven for 10-11 hours at 240 degrees. Then I left it wrapped in the paper but wrapped it with a towel and put it in an unused iced chest ( no ice). I finished cooking early about 4 hours before dinner and I was worried that it would not be warm. But to my surprise when I took it out and cut into it, it was still warm and very moist. I received many compliments on how tender and tasty it was. I am sold on the product. I did have to trim it but I was surprised at how well it was trimmed upon arrival. I just did a Texas salt and pepper rub. No BBQ sauce was needed. I will be a repeat customer. Creekstone will have my business.



    I'm betting if this cooking timeline is true... then the results were not as described. Or they have no Idea what good brisket is :rofl:

    ranges a lot but iirc, around $10-12/lb. cheaper for whole, more for quarters.

    I thought the branding was after the tattoo? I heard rumors he was thinking of one of those all over ones depicting some of his stash of charcoal. :rofl:

    Its got 7hrs of smoke and then the oven temp is controlled so I bet it turned out fine.
