I ordered the relocation bracket from BAMF, but it won’t be here for a while. I plan on installing the 3” extended brake line that came with my Tundra brakes, as well as the bracket when it all comes.

Is driving the truck with that kind of rake safe? I’m moving in two days so I’m concerned. I don’t know if the control arms will be ready by that time.

I can live with that. I am just concerned of the safety factor, and if it’s a-okay to use it while I carry heavy loads in the back while I move.

Nothing is stopping me from installing the front coilover - I just may hold off on the upper control arm for a while.

Your good, if memory serves me right you can install extended travel coilovers with stock ucasu but no wheeling until you get your spc's on. I haven't moved my brake valve and it's fine no worries there. And my rear sits 1" higher unloaded.

I figured I should just do it all at one time, as was mentioned earlier. I have refinished and repainted a lot of things - and my number one mistake is impatience. Paint jobs do not turn out well if you don’t take your time.

So I’m doing the right thing. I’m going to wait for that paint to cure, apply the clearcoat, wait for the clearcoat to cure, and then install them.

I should be ready to install them by the weekend. I move out Thursday, but I need to back on the weekend to fabricate like 25 wiring harnesses.

Tomorrow, I’m building special painting rigging I can hoist from my ceiling out of holed angle iron to paint my Cadillac horns from. I still have to sandblast and paint something like 200 horns before I leave.

    Don’t procrastinate kids. It’s bad.

Yeah it'll be totally fine. Think of how many 2wd trucks are lifted in the rear to be able to haul more, people have been doing that for 75 years. Even without extended lines and the brake relocate it will be fine, and hauling weight will be just fine as well

Driving at night might suck. Your headlights will be aimed down.

I’ll actually have better vision, somewhat. The adjusting mechanisms in one of the housings is broken so it’s permanently aimed too far upwards.

I miss those orange Sodium Lamps that street lights used to use. I never see them anymore.

It’s all bright white and ugly LED’s in every outdoor light fixture now.

I really need to cut my exhaust or have it extended. It’s rubbing on the shackle badly.

When you’re idling at a stoplight, it sounds like the tinman having a seizure in house with a metal roof during a hail storm.

I like the mercury lights over the sodium, the color is more appealing and I don't see the flicker as much. LEDs are very love hate for me. They may be very efficient but the light they give is harsh. I'd rather just do away with unnecessary lights eveywhere.

There's a small town near me that installed LED lights with motion sensors. At first everyone thought it was neat. Then it annoyed everyone so much that they were removed in under 6 months. Now the town only 2 street lights, still LED but with dusk to dawn sensors instead.

Can we have led lights but Amber filters on them? We did that for work in the parking lot cause it gets mega foggy. And white light makes it worse so we put Amber tint on the covers and it is best of both worlds

Just realized the new and old truck have/had the same wheels.

    Woot for matching spares.

Definitely a reason to check things before going down the highway... I would suspect more was wrong then just torquing the lugs (not trying to point any blame, you can do everything right and things like this will still happen). No way to know for sure. It's a sad thing to see, glad they mad it out.
