Thanks - it’s a real relief to have it done.

Yeah, I’ve been wondering about the lift too? Could it be the 5100’s? Feels a little stiffer, and I think the hood looks lower from the driver’s seat.

And suddenly I have an urge to go to a mall and show off. No idea why?

    Dumb question:

Will the Fumoto valve hang down below the opening on a @Mobtown Offroad front skid? I'm about 500 miles away from an oil change and trying to decide if I should just join the cool kids and put the valve in while I'm crawling around under the truck...

True. I appreciate a good SAS rig, but blasting through the desert appeals to me personally much more than going rock crawler beast mode.

Although, If I went LT, I'd probably go for a early model Tundra for the big V8 (gotta get that 6100 class sound)

Can confirm. Have mobtown skids and a fumoto with no nipple and plenty of clearance. Definitely recommend the fumoto

Broke out the Poor Man Paintshop (MS Paint) and started playing. Yes, I'm hella bored at work!

Crowdsouced opinion: If I do the fender stripes only, do I extend the stripes to the base of the hood mesa, or terminate them at at the fender/hood gap?

If I did the hood blackout and the stripes on the fenders only, would that be too much?

Did not get a pic but I saw a 4Runner with the stripes on the passenger side of the front bumper. Looked good.

personally I like the blacked out hood and the stripes, but they should definitely stay from the hoodline to the plastic fender, not over the fender

Plus, it really cuts down on the sun's reflection when you are driving into it.

And, I think it looks great!

Alright. Narrowed it down to stripes to the gap. Blackout or no?

The mirror stripes are gone already.
