I was disappointed when I decided on 255/85 that whitewall wasn't an option for most tires

Which way do I beat back the pinch weld? Looking from underneath, right is towards the outside and would partially cover the gap from cutting the liner. To the left and it’s the inside of the well.

Im thinking i should beat it out towards the right/outside of the wheel well.

Mine was actually cut with an angle grinder about 6" up and then beat towards the engine on both sides. Once the new fenders went on, I beat the rest over... so it all is bent towards the engine.

Hopefully that makes sense? I also put some silicon behind it as well to help keep water, mud, dirt from being trapped.

That makes sense. I ended up beating them to the outside. I’ll add some silicon soon. I think I’m gonna need to chop more since the tire is real close to the cab mount when turned some. Like 35-45%. Already had a cmc but may need to chop or grind some more

I have to have mine redone as my tires rub at full lock and really bad while in reverse... And with me wanting to put 35s on the truck... I am really going to have to get that CMC redone as well...

I’m thinking that cutting it at an angle down and back could work for me. Maybe just grind it back at the bottom.

You gonna have to chop chop chop! I wasn’t ready for that much chopping thus the 285/75/17

Oh yea, fenders are already cut, pinch weld is already done over, I did some cutting on Saturday to some parts of the body that were giving me issues... really the only thing else is the CMC needing to be redone.
