    I have 265/75/16s. Falken Wildpeak A/T.

There are many options in 265/75/16s, not sure about 255s, never bothered to look.

255s are not my cup of tea, I prefer to date women.

    I keed, I keed!

Congrats on the truck and great pics. Although I didn't take mine off-roading as quickly as you did, I have had it off-road twice already on mild trails with no regrets. I would really suggest some type of armor along the lines of either sliders or big ass nerf bars to help protect it. I have 5" Lund Nerf's and they deflected a gnarly rock that my front passenger wheel kicked up while in 4WD enough to gouge the bar into bare metal, yes, dug into the nerf's metal. So anything will help. Given that road though, I think you might be better off with wide sliders. I chose Nerf's because I'll be in parking lots 95% of the time and when I will OR, it will be on non-technical trails. Enjoy tie rig!

    Somewhere in the Mojave Desert...
    Vehicle:
    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4

Look up the pizza cutter thread, and the skinny on skinny tires:https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-skinny-on-skinny-tires.529656/

I have wide tires (265/75/16) KO2’s, because a wider tire (when not deflated) is better than skinny’s in sand, and have less psi weight pressure on the treads, so they’re less likely to be cut by sharp rock like we have in the Mojave. Narrower high profile “skinny” tires give you more room for a higher profile than wide tires (= more axle lift) and fully inflated skinny’s sink more in soft stuff, which when combined with higher psi weight pressure between the treads and ground, give better traction in snow and mud.

And congrats!! Get TSB-0063-18 done for better high altitude performance due to possible “stumbling at high elevations when throttle is wide open”and best of all- Let the MODS begin!!

I drive in Baltimore City quite often.. I feel the stock OR Bilstein was kind of jarring on bumps in my opinion.

The 5100 was well worth the upgrade.

Thats good to hear. I did not imagine the 5100’s as being superior in ride quality to the stock off road Billies.

Good to hear. Maybe I should consider them instead of the 6112 5160 combo which increased in price quite a bit....

    Interesting...
