Mine are 14" remote reservoir smoothies. I have the shortest rod end available right now (standard size) so the only way to go shorter is the welded rod end. I have both upper and lower mounts relocated, had them setup perfect but they ended up modifying my leaf springs and was hoping to avoid redoing the lower mounts.

Out of curiosity what makes the rod ends not compatible? Looks like they both have 7/8" shafts so I would guess the rod ends are both a 7/8-14 thread. Is it the depth of the thread?

Well 50-60k later, throwout bearing from LCE shit the bed forcing an earlier than planned clutch replacement... luckily we still had a spare twindisc and TO bearing upgrade laying around that works for my truck... @lotsoftoys coming through again with some mechanic magic and got the clutch in as well as new motor mounts and ebrake lines installed..

    Much better!

so far so good. definitely has some grab to it, but it's smooth still. it's surprising.

the dual comp LCE clutch was grabby but it wasn't as smooth as the twindisc.

the pedal engagement is taking a bit to get used to, but that'll happen with any change in clutch style.

i'll be dailying the truck for the next couple weeks to break it in, so i'll have some quality time with it to get used to it more.

 yes... we had to call and confirm with gadget that it was for the slave.

There was a serious lack of instructions included.

he mentioned too... this is very important, make sure you keep the components clocked in the same way as they came assembled!

seems like an important step like that should have been indicated with instructions or a warning in the parts box... or have indicators on the components to make sure they are aligned correctly upon install..

Hmm that would be nice to have known. Have no idea if mine are. I know I had to remove the transmission once to retorque things down cuz I did a piss poor job of it when I change the engine out. I installed the clutch while it was hanging on the engine hoist. After I got to Colorado, I pulled the transmission and redid the clutch and haven’t had any issues

did the trip solo and skipped the MJT this time. camped above it though and was able to look down on the switchbacks as others came up. i'll save that route for a non-solo journey.

Well that sucks! You'd think ECGS owns a torque wrench...

Hopefully Brian can get your straightened out. My diffs have been holding up great.

Damn, didnt think it looked that gnarly from the photos I've seen. But solo trips are always ambitious
