    We were supposed to camp Friday and Saturday nights. Decided to pull the trigger Saturday night when I heard the rain would start at 5am and I'd most likely be breaking camp in the downpour. Already was going to have to set up the tent in the spare room to dry it out anyway so I asked little man what he wanted to do. He decided eat dinner and pack up. Helped a couple others pack up also and then off we went. My bed sleeps a lot better than the air mattress in the tent. Hell, my backpacking mat sleeps better than the big air mattress. Plus we pretty much were sweating all night on Friday night. That Saturday morning shower was the best thing ever.

    This front is supposed to cool things down here. They talking 58 tomorrow and Thursday night, with a high of 80 and 78 the next few days. Perfect.

    I have two air mattresses, and neither are better than the bed. But, they are better than the ground. I may look at getting some cots for next time.

    More rain for us tomorrow then the lower humidity associated with said front . Looks like Thursday through next Tuesday should be nice . Although they are forecasting 90 for Tuesday right now .
