Hey Mat @OVTune, I was browsing your site now that the handhelds are available again and noticed this
    IMG_2802.jpg

Can you elaborate on this option some more? Do the ecu's need to have the same calibration ID? Do they both need to be either boosted or n/a?

My understanding is that if I live near someone that has your handheld already, I can pay you the $325 for the second license and use their handheld to flash my ecu. Is that correct or am I missing something?

you can only program one ecu with a handheld (one ecu at a time).

the flash kit is PC based software and is not compatible with the handheld. to use the second license kit you would first need to buy the flash kit ($640 for s/c or $590 for n/a) to use the second license flash kit.

so flash kit w/ second license or two handhelds is ~$1,000 to program two ecu's. the difference is: flash kit offers custom tuning whereas the handheld is a canned tune.

ovtune can fine tune critical parameters for your setup (cam timing, ignition timing, a/f ratio, etc.) with the flash kit.

the handheld's canned tune is based on someone else's truck and mods. so if you do not have the exact mods as the test mule then you will have different results.

Working on getting back with everyone as quickly as possible, few handhelds seem to have gotten lost or stuck in transit via USPS

one is yours, will email you tracking now, it has not updated though. Visiting the post office in the morning, and preparing replacement in case. I'm hoping it was just an issue that I sent so many at once some weren't scanned.

@OVTune, I just got my full exhaust complete. I'm going to a 2.6 pulley from a 2.8 I currently have. I plan on data logging for a custom tune with it. Can you get accurate info if I dont do wot runs? I'm concerned about lean afr's even with my meth setup. I'd rather play it safe-ish. Comments?

Gonna sell that 2.8 pulley? If it’s a stealth pulley, I’ll tak it off your hands. :)

I'd be ok with that. Provided it comes off without distorting. Yes, it's a stealth.
