I agree, you have the right, but the thing here and very hard to evaluate is whether the life of the officer was in danger or not...

Really? I have seen a guy run with 2 broken legs and an eyeball hanging out of his head. After a few minutes he couldn't stand or even sit up straight but he ran just fine for a good ways. Weirder things have happened.

I see what you're saying Connor, but I would think that the illegals would have learned by now that if you fuck with the border patrol, you stand no chance. Illegals deserve no rights in this country, they are here illegally and are criminals IMO.

Yes I would agree with what he said! Its illegal! Why allow it to happen? Are you saying that a thief should be allowed to steal without being punished?

ok heres another thing you have to realize. that officer had some one in custody. he now has to protect that person as well. say a rock hit the person in custody of the officer and that person was killed due to the rock. then the officers ass is on the line.

Oh, they definitely have right. Did you hear about the illegals that sued the Arizona rancher, for violation of their civil rights??? Since he was holding them for the border patrol while they were coming here illegally.....

Understood, but we dont live in those countries for a reason. killing a kid because he was throwing rocks yeah ive heard of a 15yr old kid having a powerful enough arm to hail a rock as fast a bullet. people are not trying to get into those countries to better their life. agreed people shouldnt try to come to the country illegally. to hear people the say it was the right thing to do just shows how much we are not much different from the countries we are at war with. just my 2cents

And if the person would have been killed, the officer would have been put on leave, AND most likely would have been sued by some illegal-immigrant rights' group for not protecting him...

So if your not sure if a LEO will feel like his life may be in danger in this scenario I have an experiment for you. Grab a bucket and collect a bunch of rocks. Take a ride until you find a LEO and start throwing those rocks at him and than come back and post your results. Doubt the results would be much different but because it was an American killing a Mexican it's a travesty. Sorry but if I were in that situation I prob would have done the same. Have you ever seen what the typical day for a Border Patrol agent is like? May want to look for some documentaries. It's a stressful job with very high dangers as they lose a lot of officers every year. So all these border jumpers are not crossing the borders with baskets full of flowers. The fact that people are finding a gray area here has me baffled.

"AW crap!! a little kid is throwing rocks at me!! oh I have been trained for this, let me just kill him, that should do it." -yupp real smart. How many rocks does it take to get shot??? idk ask a border agent. Im guessing that little kid was really strong cuz he was able to throw big enough rocks and piss off an agent. "Oh man these rocks are putting me in great danger! Let me shoot the little kid!" - yupp real smart. Dont get me wrong, we do need to protect our border from terrorist activity, but idk about killing a kid. I fell sorry for the kid's parents. Well u all can argue about this some more. I don't think he should have killed him but it happened. I dont think my tacoma should have the e-brake on the floor but oh well. Have a good day.

Good show, and very bi-partisan to what is going on down there. It is one fucked up situation, I must say.

The illegals that brought on the lawsuit should be shot... And to think there are judges out there that would actually let that suit go through sickens me. Illegal is illegal, no matter the nationality.
Have you ever heard of brain damage from blunt force trauma? Well here ya go: http://www.braininjury.com/injured.html

I can guarantee you that they weren't just tossing the rocks, they were most likely throwing a Randy Johnson fastball at them... I can also guarantee you that if somebody threw a rock at you that fast and it hit you in the head, you could be permanently be disabled or even put into a vegetable-state from that.

Would you go to these places illegally Conor? Why or why not?

IF YOU CROSS THE NORTH KOREAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET 12 YEARS HARD LABOR.

IF YOU CROSS THE IRANIAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU ARE DETAINED INDEFINITELY.

IF YOU CROSS THE AFGHAN BORDER ILLEGALLY, YOU GET SHOT.

IF YOU CROSS THE SAUDI ARABIAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE JAILED.

IF YOU CROSS THE CHINESE BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU MAY NEVER BE HEARD FROM AGAIN.

IF YOU CROSS THE VENEZUELAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE BRANDED A SPY AND YOUR FATE WILL BE SEALED.

IF YOU CROSS THE CUBAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU WILL BE THROWN INTO POLITICAL PRISON TO ROT.

And if it were illegal to enter Mexico at the cost of my life I would not enter it thus ending this type of issue. This kid was in my opinion threatening the life and family of a Border Patrol officer, who in turn reacted as he thought was right. Oh and you said that life in general isn't fair......your right thats why this kid died. Its may not be fair but its his life or was.

exactly its not getting any better it is a war. and to those who say oh he was a kid. Drug cartels use underage kids because we cant do anything to them here because our laws protect them cause there underage. there are thousands of "kids" that work with drug cartels. age is not a factor in this WAR
