While installing my rear bumper I noticed an open plug under the the bumper area, located on the driver's side, behind the spare. 18 double cab with factory tow package, without the technology package. Could it be for the bumper sonar stuff that I don't have?

If I had to guess I'd say it's for the Blind spot monitor sensors.
