My 255/85 ST Maxx's get delivered to the tire shop tomorrow :bananadance:

Gonna spend this evening trimming the shit out of my pinch weld and grinding down the front of my sliders...they were made about an inch too long and only clear my 32's by maybe an inch right now when the tires are fully turned. Hoping I can grind away another half inch or so with my angle grinder.

Not sure how easy it would be to cut that thick of steel with an angle grinder lol, will probably just have to shave it back with a thick grinding wheel. Gonna pick up a pack of 10 tonight after work, I'm sure I'll go through all of them. And piss off my neighbors...

If that doesn't work or doesn't take enough off I'll reach out to Jason and see about having him cut a more substantial chunk off for me with the right tools

I guess another option would be to go to a good alignment shop and see if they can move my wheels forward a bit with the right alignment. Probably need to end up doing both, just hoping I'm able to drive my truck from the tire shop tomorrow morning lol. Unfortunately, America's Tire doesn't do alignments

Photos from the first day mostly, I was ahead most of the rest of the trail so I didn't get many photos of others passed Thompson Hill.

Finally part of the 33s club, better late than never

Tires just barely clear my sliders at full lock, definitely going to rub offroad but so far no rubbing on the street...

Grinder barely works on the sliders but I managed to grind away a tiny bit last night...going to take awhile.

Love the ST Maxx, super deep tread and more aggressive looking in person than they are on the websites I saw them listed on.

Looking good! I'm thinking of going with the pizza cutters next time around. Yeah... you've done a great job scraping up those rims... :fistbump:

Yeah they've seen their fair share of abuse, wish I knew what they were cause I'd recommend them to everybody. They hold up great.

They're American something or the other...saw them online once.

Looks great Ryan! You can clean up the rubbing on the rear with alignment. But the pinch weld will need to be ground n hammered, may wanna trim the front of your bumper as well. If you still have your windshield wiper resi time to relocate. It will rub for sure haha.

You're gonna love em man! Dont worry about the scratches. Aluminum wont rust.

thanks! yeah I think I'm going to go the alignment route to get them to fit better rather than trying to trim back my sliders. My pinch weld is trimmed and beaten back as far as it can be, I clear it pretty well though with these skinnier tires. It's the sliders that are the big issue but hopefully I can get the front wheels to move forward an inch with the right alignment.

An inch is a lot. Tell em you want 3-4 castor and that should help. I got 4 and I don't like the way the steering feels so I'm gonna try to go as low as I can next time around.

This^^^ @eon_blue Im on wider tires but run +2.5° castor on the driver and +2.6° on the passenger thats what they said they could get me to at firestone. They probably coulda got me to +3° but thats another conversation. I have zero rubbing on my firewall. But keep in mind it will move the tire forward so you will have to pull the dremel out on the front bumper. Stoked for ya dude!

Where have y'all been mounting your ARB compressors for powering lockers? I'm having the dilemma of deciding where I want to mount it. I'm thinking either the driver side cubby in the bed or behind the rear seats for double cab.
