Since we're in the giving mood, I've got a set of 2017 OEM fog lights I was going to sell on eBay unless someone here can use them.

Yeah don't drill into that reinforced portion but you can drill to the outside of it and run eye hooks or something to attach molle panel and make it tight.

    A thing or two...
I did a Google search after I posted and there are a few threads. I haven't dug into them yet.

Saw that one. It's the first one that came up in my search.

    can someone help me....

got my @Baja Designs fogs and I think the harness that goes to the light (the one on the right in the pic) is damaged??? Or am I supposed to put it together? Why would they assemble one plug and not the other?

Also, these are supposed to be plug and play, but even the light on the left (that the harness is pre-assembled) wont plug all the way in to the adapter....

the little red pads on the adapter harness are supposed to go all the way in to the plug on the light (from all the videos I've seen) and sit flush but wont plug in any farther past a certain point

someone help... should I just hardwire them into the H11 adapter plugs???

As much as those cost it should be perfect right out of the box. Contact baja designs.

Sorry - that is a little embarrassing. No clue why the connector didn't get assembled onto the light.

The adapters are the only things that should be "unpinned" where the connector is removed from the pins. Once you confirm polarity everything goes together easily. You can hardwire if desired, but I'd rather get you the right stuff. Please send me a message with your order details and I'll get working on a fix.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
It is just an assembly issue... (On their end)

You can either fuss with them, or put it together.
