We found what is causing the issue with my dad. He has blocked veins in his neck that is contributing to the numbness. Apparently a group of nerves being affected is also causing numbness in his feet, the neurologist warned him that frostbite could happen very easily due to not being able to feel the signs of it coming on.

Northern In/Mi I suggested a pair of Gortex insulated hunting boots, I have a pair of Rocky Pro Hunters that I really like, light weight and warm.

Tried to get him wear wool blends but he don’t like wool, probably had a bad experience when he was kid, grew up in the 40s/50s

He hates smart phones, he said they made him feel dumber.

Definitely not a townie, works outside on construction sites.

Just got a weather alert for Hawaii and they've got a Hurricane warning for the big island and watches for Maui and Oahu

Just called my brother and he told me the path of the Hurricane is supposed to pass off the coast near Honolulu and Waikiki Beach . He lives on the windward side of Oahu 12 miles from downtown with the Koolau Mtns in between

I'm hoping he's not in the path of the Hurricane and he stays safe !!
