Was going to put some stickers on the truck that I’ve been accumulating. Didn’t know where to put them. (Air dam on the rack, bed of truck, under the hood......? Any suggestions?) Or should I just leave them off?

 

Hmmmmm... So the bedliner holds up well on the trails? I scrape THE FUCK out of my sides out here on the narrow AZ trails. Been contemplating going black on my fenders since they are already getting the clearcoatcancer from the sun here. But don't want to make them look worse if the DIY job gets FUBAR'd the first wheeling trip I take.

I had them sprayed - not DIY. Line-X is extremely durable, so it should hold up fine.

My bumpers and sliders have Rustoleum spray on bedliner, and they do not hold up as well. But, I planned on re-spraying them every year or two.

Truer words were never spoken!

 

I refuse to put stickers on my truck. Except I do have one American flag on the back glass of my topper. Only advertising I care to do.

 

I've been putting them on the underside of my hood. Only very few stickers will make it the back window. I've added more since this photo.

How do you keep that Hood so clean!

 

Found a rattle when doing the tranny filter this past weekend. A couple of small fender washers later and bye bye rattle.

 

It rolled over 20,000 miles yesterday. Today I changed my front/rear diff, transfer case and transmission oils using Redline 75w90 and MT 90. I also changed the cabin filter and air filter and topped off the window washer fluid. Then I washed it. I also discovered gunk all over my inner wheel, and CV shaft area when I was under there. I can’t figure out where it’s coming from. The CV boots are fine. I’m thinking it might be the remains of an animal since a couple weeks ago i kept smelling something dead, IDK. I cleaned it off so I’ll just wait to see if it comes back.

 

I'm almost certain that's CV boot grease. Look reallllly closely at the boot. Even a pinhole would throw grease. Appears to be right on the outer edge somewhere

 

Finally got around to installing my seat spacers from @olecoot.

Took me about half an hour to get them on because it was a bit hard to get both bolts to line up so they could go in. Might be cause I'm a noob at this sort of thing.

Tomorrow on the drive to work it'll be the test.
