Ah gotcha, I kinda doubt it then, probably not worth the hassle, but I've never priced them

Hey Fellas, Looking for suggestions on how to get engine oil out of the cylinders of an old Harley that has been sitting for years, and got wet sumped. Here is a pretty good explanation of wet sumped. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfiqRF6iQHw

Mine was so bad that it pumped oil up to the air cleaner, and that then ran into the cylinders. I pulled the plugs, and cranked it for a good while, occasionally spraying in carb cleaner. At first it was shooting out globs of engine oil, and still seems to have a considerable amount of oil in there. Any suggestions on how to get them clean enough that the plugs won't immediately foul? I was considering dumping in kerosene to fill the cylinder and then kicking it over to expel. Repeating this several times.

Edit: @Blackdawg @mechanicjon @Speedytech7 @koditten Any thoughts, fellows? Sorry, I know it's not Tacoma, but respect your wrenching abilities.

The rust alone is probably worth $15.

Actually, it is a requirement to sell it, to pay for the 4 wheeler I just purchased. Marital agreement.

Why thank you! It’s definitely a unique accessory for anyone.

I’m building a painting rack right now to hang something like 120 horns at one time. Greatly helps with painting and curing.

I’ll post some pics. I’m making it out of slotted angle iron (aka garage opener hanger) and some thread rods plus marine rope and pulleys.

Mmmm. You should have seen my front differential before I sandblasted it. Came out of a rusted in half 1996 4Runner Limited with like 300k miles. Under all the grease and grime was rust. Lots of rust.

Luckily my sandblaster made quick work of it.

I swear to god sandblasters are the greatest invention known to man. It’s one of my favorite tools next to my Campbell-Hausfeld 60 Gallon Shop Air Compressor.

Everyone should own a Sandblaster. I can’t go back to angle grinders.
