The lake we get our water from is pretty well dried up. Doesn’t help that they apparently found damage In the dam and are draining it completely. Next year we’ll be lucky to get a first crop.

Praying for a Long, wet winter and spring.

I had the back side of the pond wash out, and Bull Run flooded so bad it got into the neighbors house 200 yds away from the bank with about 15 ft elevation.

The boats are normally 10 ft up the shore, the shot of the entire pond was today at the standard level.
The photo with people is the road where the pond outflow goes under the road to the creek.
The last one with the errosion is about 5 ft drop.

On another topic, i need to get my own bow and try not to borrow my buddies.
So aside from only using his pse and an old recurve fiberglass just for targets in the yard, what are some suggestions?
Without spending more than a pair of standard sliders should cost.

Every large bow company has what I call budget bows. They are usually good bows but they don't advertise them because they don't cost $1k. This is the what I shoot and I love it. Just find a bow that is comfortable to you. You'll know it when you draw it back.Screenshot_20180821-211746_Chrome.jpg

I clicked the like button, but that’s pretty shitty situation man. This year has been so crappy weather wise I only hit the river once on my kayak. I’m normally out there a bunch of times.

I go to fish not winter water raft. Lol. Hopefully it helped the acorn yields and not hurt them.

I suggest trying to find an older Mathews. I have a Z7Xtreme and will probably nvlever get rid of it. They are much more reasonable now. I’ll see what they run on eBay in a sec.

Looks like you can get them decently equipped for like $600. Well worth it though.

Check out the Hoyt Powermax. It's Hoyt's best bow for the money. It's a tank that will do whatever you want it to do.

I shot like crap yesterday. To much stuff going on in my head I guess. Also noticed that my sight keeps coming loose in the windage adjustment. Really don't wanna get a new sight right before bow season.

Just found out an interesting way to remove your fletchings without a special tool. A potato peeler.
