I am not sure if I missed anyone's suggestions. I am sure I did, and I apologize for that, but I appreciate the input on this. This really helps me get an idea of how I would want to proceed. A lot of common themes here as well, which is pretty cool.

Definitely another Alaska vote from me. Hit up the southeast peninsula by fairy. Good way to see all the sights from Ketchikan to Sitka to Juneau. Take a cruise from Juneau north through glacier country and up towards the bering straits. You won't be disappointed. Doesn't really matter where you go up there, it's all beautiful. The fairy is a great way to see a lot at minimum cost. If your looking for something more guided up there I'd look up Millers landing. Something more private and I can get you in touch with a family friend that runs charters out of sitka. If your in sitka, check out the highliner cafe. It's owned by my aunt and uncle and they can probably put you in touch with some good local activities as well
