Hey guys, has anyone out there done this /seen it done? It might look stupid but I'm curious what the rigid industries bezel would look like when placed over standard fog light - or if it's even possible? Obviously the bezel would block 3/4ths of the circular fog but i thought it might look kinda cool, idk.

    Thanks dudes

Unless your fog lights are Rigid industries, I would not use the RI Bezel on stock fog lights. Like you mentioned, it’ll cover like 3/4 of the lights and you’ll look like a poser since your fogs are stock and not RI.

    My .02 cents

I would assume that part of the reason for you wanting to do this would be for aesthetic purposes, but by the way the RIGID Bezel is designed I dont think it would even be able to fit over your stock fog lights. I dont have them, but judging by pictures of the bezels themselves I would guess you would need to chop up the center part of the bezel as well as cut a hole in the top portion just to fit stock fogs behind them, which would kind of eliminate the purpose you got them for.

I think it would look cool when the halogen fog melts the rigid bezel and you’ve got some weird distorted plastic on the front of your truck.

Good points. Like I said, just a random idea I had. Do y'all know of any other LED fogs that could be used in place of the RI version? the TRD PRO fog setup is cool, but not $500 cool imo.

Would not do it. False advertising. No rigid fogs, no rigid bezel.

You'd have to chop it up.

I bet you could, but rigid look like Chinese lights. I'd skip it and go Baja Designs.

Yeah i agree. On the one hand, the Baja lights are nice but I don't really like the way they fit, it doesn't look very flush.
On the other hand, the RI bezels are nice but the lights themselves are kind of ugly and stupid expensive. :annoyed:

Time for a 3rd contender to step into the ring...

Is there a replacement bezel without the giant Rigid logo?

Not that I've seen. That would be ideal - I don't want the bezel just to act like I've got rigids, i couldn't give a shit about the branding. I just like the look of them.

I hear that. I would rock that bezel, just cant sport it with the rigid logo (since i have no rigids).

Sorry, I'm referencing the ones that come stock on TRD PRO tacos here:

    https://www.ebay.com/p/Genuine-OEM-Toyota-Tacoma-2016-2017-TRD-Pro-Rigid-Industries-Fog-Lights/595905469?iid=163212897450&chn=ps

I similarly don't really like the way the ones you linked fit - the face plate is pretty flat and the lights stick out like bug eyes lol

IIRC the SR-M units that are dimensionally identical to the OEM units but lack the DOT approval and Toyota mounts are cheaper than be OEM fog assemblies and are allegedly an upgrade over the OEM units.

If mine ever burn out that’s likely the direction I’d go.
