So are we going to tag the vendor or what? I don't know how..haha
The "special" pricing he offered me on the 18's wasn't so special after all so i have to wait for these 17's or else i would take a loss on the 17" tires i bought anticipating the April delivery.

I hear ya, but the group buy was on here and not IG so i think members here would like to get some updates.
Its been a month since he's updated this thread and i would think GB folks would appreciate some common courtesy. Maybe i'm expecting too much.

Actually he posted it on IG first and then on here. I followed this thread when he posted it on here as well. But true he should chime in on here as well. When I spoke to him last week to change my color he said he had to call to make sure it was possible so I’m assuming they’re in production.

Ahh..ok, I see and stand corrected. But yea, I still stand by my statement that he should update this thread as well. I don’t search IG for vendor feedback when buying a product from a forum GB (maybe I should). Personally, I would appreciate an update on this thread. Someone had asked if the tooling was finished and it would have been great to know that wheels are in productionn(if that’s the case) and if we can gauge delivery time window. Right now...no one here knows. Or do they?

Well it will take a month to get here from Japan right? Do I hear December when we finally get them into our hands?

ETAs are just that, estimates. I know he said October, but I am saying November in case...I really hope it doesn't go into Dec

I hope we do see these sooner than later.

But we have to appreciate that if these do show up in Oct-Nov, that VOLK pulled off something amazing. Delivery of newly manufactured wheels made from scratch in under a year? Amazing!

Yeah some people don’t understand the work that’s put in to make forged wheels. Let alone they had to design it to withstand the weight of our vehicles and also pass certifications. These aren’t your cheap cast wheels where they just put it in a mold then powdercoat and ship out from Asia to the US.

Nah, i understand. Just thought Ray's would have a better process and irritated at the multiple delays. nothing new from buyers waiting longer than expected for their stuff. An update from the seller would be nice, maybe thats asking for too much now too.

True but it’s basically a custom wheel since they never made them in this size and offset before so all the re-tooling and r&d to make them took a while I’m sure. It was trial and error to finally make them pass certifications. I’m sure they’re in the works now since he said he had to call to see if I can switch my color choice. I agree Chuck should give us an update again. I don’t personally know the guy but I know a lot of people who’s dealt with him and say he’s a stand up guy.
