    Ok, wanted to wait until after work. I seriously just rescued a snapping turtle this big the other on the way to work. It would hav surely been run over. I stopped traffic to carry it off the road.

    He tried just as I was putting him down in the grass. But my snake like reflexes saved me. That and fear. Damn thing must have weighed like 15 lbs or more. Has to be the biggest Snapper I've ever seen. There is huge pond in the direction it was going. I just helped.
