    See I totally missed the point of these, I thought it was for visibility. I actually have issues with my lower back sometimes so as much as I thought i'd never want them, I might end up with them.

    go! seriously I just turned 26 and my back was in terrible shape from all the abuse from sports and slams. Turned out my one leg was slightly shorter as well, and with proper stretching and a little wedge my back has been relatively pain free for months

    AH! Definitely planning on it. Even spoke to the wife about it the other day actually. She had been going for a bit and said it helped, but stopped for some reason. Told her we should go together.

    LOL. I don't mind paying for it since I'm sure it'll cost you something to make it. The spacer is just 1" tall.

    Rear facing car seats are difficult in most cars or midsize SUV's/trucks. It's no different for ours. Once they can be front facing you can move them both to each side

    Yep. Got both of my kiddos forward facing now, and definitely a bit more room for them now, then when I had my youngest rear facing behind the passenger's seat, until she was old and big enough to be turned around.

    The "problem" now is that my oldest is getting bigger, and outgrowing his current seat now, so have to move up to the next one soon. According to the doc, he's tracking to be 5-10 / 5-11.
