    But to the thread at hand. I really enjoyed the Champ game this year. I personally feel GA got robbed in the end, but I was in Atlanta for work, so it may have been something in the water as well.

    the year Derrick Henry won it with worse rushing stats than other running backs made me realize what a crock it is.

    "gotta be on a the most winning team" is the stupidest thing I've ever heard, Heisman = MVP. MVP = most valuable player, NOT most valuable player on the winning team.

    I always say "if the team could've survived without him, he probably shouldn't win it".

    The Heisman began its decline when Charles Woodson beat Peyton Manning in 97. No doubt Woodson was a hell of a player and probably a deserving recipient of the award, just not that year over Manning.

    Man I could not agree more, IMHO it's a spectacle for ESPN, I cannot help but feel there is lobbying that takes place to promote the player who will provide the best ratings to the Heisman Trust time-slot every year for ESPN
