Yeah, pretty much. I think mine were over torqued.
I actually torqued the 4 back ones to 80 ft-lbs and added blue loctite.

I recently purchased and installed the newer EL095R leaf packs with the top overload removed in my DCSB due to TSB sagging and being an inch lower than the front. I expected to gain 2.25” based off of the numbers from the OP, but I only gained an inch (so, it’s now riding at stock height). I do have a rtt (135 lbs) and CBI bed bars (35 lbs) in the rear, but I really didn’t expect 170lbs in the bed to limit the lift so much. Any of you experience this?? Thank you all for your time and feedback, and Happy New Year!

Looking at your build thread you also have armor and sliders so that's probably an additional 200-250ish lbs...

With the weight you run I'd put the overload back in if you want some more height in the rear. You can also get the extra leaf which would make your pack the same as the heavy-duty Dakar. Or do both.

Also: since your truck is a Pro I think you should have been expecting about 1.25" over stock. The extra weight you have must have eaten into that.

I recently purchased a set of used set of the dakar cs047r, I plan on taking out the third leaf and don’t plan on doing a U bolt flip or shock relocation. I was wondering for those of you that have done this and went with a longer rear shock, what shock did you go with and what bump stop setup did you use so you don’t over collapse and blow up the shock? A link to the bump stops would be awesome as well

Installed my EL095R yesterday on my 2006 AC OR, ended up at around 22.5" hub to fender but started at around 20.5". I've got a canopy, sleeping platform, topperezlift system, and fridge+battery bank in the back seat, so shes a fat pig. I will eventually be adding the Dakar AAL once I get the fronts installed, everything settles, and I know I can fit in my garage :)

Question: will removing the 3rd leaf from my CS047R leaf pack affect the geometry of the front suspension enough to require an alignment? I went from 20mm of preload down to 15mm up front on my BP51s and forgot to check how much rake I had before getting it aligned. I don't overload the bed so I'm not worried about sag.

Hi all, I have a 2007 dclb trd sport with snug top cap always on, and loaded up to 400-500lbs when visiting nature. Also have a 6” fabtech lift and recently changed out the spacer with extended rcd bilstein, eibach 112620 springs, and 1/2” top hat spacer. In the front I have a steel bumper and winch, sliders. My front sits 25.5” hub to fender.

In the rear, I have El096r coming to hopefully replace my current 3” block with fabtech AAL. With the block and aal, my rear is 26” with just the cap on.

I want to keep that same height in the rear but don’t mind a slight increase, up to 27” hub to fender for a rake.

Does anyone have an idea with the EL096r, with or without my 3” block, what my measurement would be? Or what I would need install to do to get that 26-27” hub to fender. I don’t want to be installing and reinstalling the parts. I have a feeling I will need a smaller block.

    Thanks!

It looks good the way it is ! What is the reason for removing the 3rd leaf ?

Maybe it's just that way I'm looking at it, but since the front is lower now, I notice the rake much more.

    +1.

How long have your leafs been installed, @yeos? FWIW, mine settled a little over time.

Leafs have been on for two years. The fronts are new warranty replacement BP51s which I reduced the preload from 20mm down to 15mm because the ride was too harsh and kept topping out.

Well, that means they've settled as much as they're going to.

FWIW, I removed the second overload from mine, rather than any of the leafs themselves. It was relatively easy and gave me the height I wanted without changing the ride characteristics.

Have the medium duty leaf packs about a year now . Think I’m going for the AAL . I feel the rear needs to be lifted a little more ! Going to take some more measurements today !
