I think I've got it traced back to the AC this time. I was having like three different cabin leaks going on at the same time, only one left though.

I tried to shove a good ole coat hanger into the drain on the firewall, but it wouldn't go very far in and not much came out. Some condensation was coming off that.

It rained a lot last night, but I only noticed the smell and moisture after my 30 minute commute. Water just pools on my passenger side floorboard.

Please help. My local dealer isn't the smartest out there evidently and couldn't figure it out last time.

For anybody curious, I have fixed all cabin leaks with zero electrical damage.

When you turn the AC on do you see water tripping from the AC drain ?

If its humid near you turn your ac on and after a few minutes you should see a drip. If thats the case then its not the AC drip line.

use a an air hose with a rubber tip air gun. one or two quick blasts of air will clear it right up. I had the same problem. I had over a gallon of condensate come out of the drain line after I did that.

    Ok,
I put a bunch of paper towels under it and it was gushing out water while the system was running after shoving the coat hanger in there.

Ok, so I pulled the carpet up and it is absolutely SOAKED under here. The insulation/sound deadening material can literally be wrung out like it was just underwater. The source of the water appears to be coming from the right side. Maybe even this rubber seal?

Please save me from the dealer.

Hmm, That should do it man. If water was gushing it tells me that the water wasn't draining subsequently entering the cab. Good work .

If that isnt the cause of the water, then what I would do is keep that carpet up run a hose on your roof , sit in the passenger seat and look for where the water may be coming in. Do it 10 minutes.
Next I would run the house up over the hood and below the windshield. Hop inside and check if water is coming in.
Finally put a sprinkler under the truck and hop back into the cab and look for water.

You need to spray water everywhere, on the door, under the truck, near the windshield and actually look to see where the water is coming in.

Get a loooooong tyrap. I used a 4'x1/2" and pushed that in the drain hose. It was flexible enough to not punch a hole in that drain hose.

Got a friend who's a tin knocker? He'll more than likely have a tyrap that big.

Did you ever have your windshield replaced? On my first gen I had a leak after a windshield install, they had to come out and seal it again.

Had same issue. Looked on here for tips. Tried the a/c drain. Then tried under passenger side windshield where cabin filter is. Found a mouse nest on filter and it was wet. Thsts where some of my smell was coming from but wasnt main leak. Also checked in back of front quater panels where mud flaps are, full of leaves and mud. Took care of all those issues and it still leaked water in. Then I read on here where it was coming in rear window seal. Got the hose out with lots of pressure and after awhile sure enouph it slowly leaked to the front floor boards. I got tube of permatex and sealed it. Havent had an issue since. Good luck finding your issue. Wet floor is no fun

If you run the AC and water drips out the evaporator drain, then it's ok.
check the cowl / windshield wiper motor plastic cover plate- it seals to the windshield. I had this issue with mine. If it doesn't seal properly and water gets past it, it will enter the heater core area and then the passenger floor. Terrible design as the vent opening is directly against the firewall and it 100% relies on the cover to windshield seal to prevent water getting in. The cover plate on mine was slightly distorted so I cleaned it up and sealed it to the windshield with clear silicone. Not ideal, but I didn't have time to order the parts. It's easy to fix, ideally you just pull the windshield wiper arms and clean everything up and reseal - or replace the part. In addition to this, I also enlarged the drain hole that's between the main plastic cowl cover and small RH piece.
Get a helper and get out the hose.

The Toyota dealer spent a week trying to find it and I'm hoping them did that as well, but you never know.

Thanks for the advice though, I'll look into those things.
