It must be the off menu lingo that makes people feel part of something unique.

Yeah the “animal style” or whatever it is. The burgers are ok, not anything to write home about.

I'll never set foot in Abilene again. I'm somewhat disappointed that I may be setting foot in Texas outside of the airport come November.

I did like Taco Bueno when I was out there.

A real WTF, one of the best burger combos I've had was out of a roach coach. Custom made to order w/ bacon and a fried egg on top.

Funny as I can remember that starting around 13 years of age I constantly had that urge as well.

Before they went public TC was amazing. Bill Miller’s street tacos are actually pretty good and if it’s a fajita in San Antonio, then it has to be from Rolando’s off of Pleasanton and Shasta, if they are even there anymore. Is/was a bad ass mom and pop joint and they treated me like family even though I was the only wedo that I ever saw in there.

@CaptAmerica hows your sewer pipe sailor treating you today?

I would always get the fajitas at TC would buy the pound of them . Last time I went I don't think it was even an option. I won't eat there anymore. Never been to Taco Bueno. I don't believe we have them in my neck of the woods

One of the best burgers I've ever had was from Grandmas Kitchen in Honokaa, Hawaii a few weeks ago. Tiny place in this small plantation town, been there for something like 50 years. All local beef raised on the island, hand ground at the restaurant. It was indescribably good.

I flew them out of FTCKY. Other than training and visits to the in-laws, I avoid that place like the plague.

Multiple TDY trips through TX, OK, NM and AZ, took me through TC country. :drunk:
