I had mine updated yesterday. This is all the paperwork I received. Truck drives much better. I just don’t know what version I received.

I’m in VA...after reading this thread I was like “omg I need this update!” But I don’t notice any difference really. They gave me paperwork showing the 58-18 update, but I’m unimpressed. Pedal still feels squishy, still races to 4th gear, still a PITA to maintain 75mph and still hunts for gears in the 45-65 mph range unless your going downhill or completely flat road

You are one of the few that have the NSFL-13/UY engine model. At this point your best choice is to change to Ridgeline.

got 58-18 a week ago. Fixed stumble and surge feelings between30 and 50 mph. Live on Cali coast so haven't taken to high elevation yet but will be this weekend. Happy to have the latest ecu program. It's better than the last one.

@Jacoma77 I believe that EG1811 is the code for B400 (latest code). I'm sure someone else can confirm.

At the dealer now trying to get my AC Fan fixed as it broke the other day and there is now an advisory from Toyota about them failing. So while I’m here Im trying to get 58-18 done. Steph at Mike Erdman was super helpful and didn’t question it one bit when I explained to her what it was doing. I basically told her exactly what was on the TSB and she quickly looked up all the active TSBs and said 58-18 sounds exactly like what you are experiencing and I asked if they could do it and she basically said “well if there’s a TSB out for it then it’s obviously a known issue and I have no reason to believe that your lying about what the trucks doing so we will go ahead and get it done.”

Can’t wait to see how it feels!

I've come to the conclusion that I don't feel any difference because I don't drive like I'm 16 any more.

Dropped off the Taco this morning for my 5k service, fix hood shutter, and told her to apply TSB# 62-18. She noted all my symptoms but then told me she will "try" the TSB but they've been having a 50/50 success rate as many of the trucks brought in have already received the update. I told her my truck was purchased in May and didn't spend one day on the lot, so build date should be Feb/March and it has all the symptoms of TSB# 62-18. Really hoping they do this update, its really getting annoying. I jump in my wifes Land Cruiser and it feels like how a vehicle is supposed to drive...

It is great when your service advisor is up to date on what is going on and helps you out. I on the other hand, had resistance at Longo Toyota's service department but after insisting that my truck had the symptoms they did apply the TSB..

My truck has a terrible miss at light throttle on regular. Feels like the road is bumpy its so bad. 93 makes it smooth as silk.

I’ve put about 700-800 miles on my truck post TSB. I do think the shifts have kind of reverted back to how it was pre TSB. Maybe some transmission learning? However, the truck still holds a gear better when going up hills. 1-4 gears shift way to early and quick. Even with some heavy on the pedal pressure I feel like they shift earlier than what it was right after I got the TSB. Maybe I just need to reset the transmission learning again and drive it like I stole it ha Post TSB is still better than pre TSB overall. I definitely think it can be improved though.

Mine has that at light throttle while coasting. ~40mph and 1500rpms or so. It had it before and after the flash.

    That's disappointing.

Do you have any lift? I've got 2" in the rear. Was worried it was my tapered blocks...

All stock minus sumos in rear, but it does it either way.
It's all motor causing it. So good news...?
