Understood, thanks. I'm really liking these JBAs. The price point of the standard version for what you get is excellent.

Exactly why I went with them.
Not to mention, easy to get to the BJ, if needed too.

Yeah, I'm trying to customize my suspension upgrade to suit my needs and these fit in with that perfectly. Serviceable is definitely a consideration

quick install question...I am replacing my upper ball joints in my JBAs. Looks pretty simple...Just drop the tire...unbolt the main bolt the ball is on, and the 4 bolts for the housing. It almost looks too easy.

I went by a 4 Wheel Drive shop and they wanted to charge $250!! They said I had to take the struts out...I don't see why that would even be necessary....Am I missing something?

Even if the ball joint had to be pressed on why the hell would they need to remove the strut? o_O
$250 for that?? Uh, no.

Yeah...I literally just went out and looked at it...and called them back. I'm doing it myself on Friday. Looks like a no brainer...just need to borrow a torque wrench.

Check the auto parts stores near you. Some loan them out at no cost.

I have the 1/2" one and it does a great job on my wheel rotations. And everything else I use it for.

Purchased these, didn't realize you needed to pay attention to wheel dims.. I have 17x8" eBay SEMA wheels that are 4.0" bs. Planned on installing 285s, and the site says 315 recommended with an 8.5 wheel and same bs. Will I rub wkth these UCAs? Just want to make sure my calculator is working.

You should be just fine. I'm running 295s with very similarly dimensioned wheels and have pleennntttyyyy of space between the tire and UCA.

 I am the same way.
A torque wrench is a great purchase. Pretty much use one every time I am putting something back together.
