4 radius video walls fabricated and installed.
    137' radius. MGM Grand arena.
When the event is over, I will chop these up and recycle the aluminum. I do not have enough room in the shop to store crap like this, and I will more then likely never need this exact radius and size.
If I remember correctly these walls are about 22' x 90'.
The entire floor is made up of led tiles, it all lights up.KIMG0528.jpg

My new mill, still sitting in the same place weeks later untouched. Have not had 5 minutes to myself in a month, let alone finish getting this thing set up to play with.15347737435961128823948.jpg

For all you guys that use tube benders, I'm looking at getting a ProTools 105 Series Bender. Anyone ever used one? How'd you like it? Or should I keep looking? Trying to get in to building bed racks, sliders, tube bumpers, that sort of thing.

Never used one but heard good things about them. If you’re buying new though, I’d probably go with a JD2 model 3 or model 32. Reason I say this is because of their customer service. They’ve been great for everything I’ve needed. And the product is very reputable and is good quality. Just my thoughts. The JD2 stuff will probably be close to the same amount too

Gotcha. I'll price one out and compare the two. I'll be converting to an air/hydraulic ram setup as soon as I get it if that makes any difference.

How do your bends look with the one you currently have? I've heard mixed reviews on the Woodward fab, that's why I'm staying away from that one. Haven't done any research on the JD2 benders.

If you wanna save money, swag Offroad makes an inexpensive mount for the benders to mount a harbor freight long arm ram to convert it to air/hydro setup. That’s what I did. Works great.

The bends look great. They use JD2 benders to build nascar tube chassis. They work great.

Here is my bender and sliders that I make. I’ve made about 200 sets of sliders for people here on TW over the last couple years and the bender has been great for me

Nice. Didn’t know nascar used them. Those bends do look good though. Any tricks to getting them to look that good? Or is it a fairly straight forward process with the JD2?

Stuff and things that make it better.
2nd for the JD2 with the Swag hydro attachment. A protractor is also handy if you want to duplicate bends.

    Thanks man!

Definitely. @Jerneyman you’ll also want to get a plane of bend bracket and a digital angle finder so that you can keep your plane of bend nice and flat and not have your tubes with multiple bends get twisted on you

I was looking at the plane of bend brackets. How exactly do those work? Just attach it to the tube and put an angle finder on it, and keep it reading zero?

First time ever bending tube, watched a YouTube video like 10 times and bought a JD2 with the swag off road adapter for the HF jack. Made the sliders first, then the bed rack. Bending metal makes me grin evreytime.1F6CA3DD-C6D2-4F73-81BD-57F26D50B618.jpg1CE97133-BDC9-4AE6-BBE1-C4D5A289F8E1.jpg

Looking at all that bent metal makes me grin too. Lol. Something about it just takes fab work to the next level of professionalism. I like it.

That’s exactly right. Put the plane of bend bracket on the tubing and put the angle finder on it. Then make sure it reads zero and then when you move the tubing to the next bend make sure it reads at zero again. If your tubing rotated slightly while making a bend then you may even want to rotate it the slightest bit the other way to compensate for that but I’ve had good luck just putting it back to zero every time and the tubing lays nice and flat on the ground
