Sometimes when I start the truck it does a bizarre winggggg sound under the truck ??? What's that ??? It only does it when the truck is gold. After 1 start it doesnt do it anymore. 8/10 time it ok but 2/10 start it does it ??
Every time I go to the dealer it ok

If you are talking about a whining sound when you start the truck, it is normal.

It will go away after a minute.

You may be referring to the ABS that actuates when you first take off after starting the truck. It is normal operation.

Drives me nuts, but yeah apparently that 70s Dodge/Chevy whine is normal. I get it really bad any cold or wet morning.

Is it a whining sound or more of a metallic ring? That is the sound older model cars used to make when the starter was going out.

There is an air injection pump (not sure of exact function) that sometimes comes on right after a cold start. I don't even notice it on mine anymore. The pump is connected to the exhaust system (manifold I think). It's located over by the air filter and washer fluid reservoir. It's round, plastic and has an approx. 1.5" hose coming off of it to the exhaust system. Pop your hood next time before starting. Once it starts jump out and listen to see if the noise is coming from that area. a page from the service manual that shows it.

x2. The air pump's purpose is to pump air into your exhaust to help your cats warm up faster. It's normal, and nothing to be worried about.
