About to get my truck back from the dealership. The CEL kept coming back because there was 2 grounds not secured properly.

He said it took 4+ hours to find the problem but is only charging me for 2 hrs of work. Plus the cruiser club discount. Total price $180. Not too bad, if I had the tools and knowledge to find the problem myself I would've done it.

I don't, but I wouldn't be surprised if some dealer somewhere has one sitting in a bin that's been forgotten about.

It’s already passed, only about 5 minutes worth.

Guess we’ll see what it looks like in a few

    Including the transmission? Haha.

I’m fortune enough to have my own room in the Condo, so it’s not that bad.

Such is true. I learned tig first. I can mig weld real good, but learning scratch start tig has prevented my ability to get good at striking up with a stick welder. Two different motions of the wrist, one I have muscle memory for and the other Ive never been able to get down.

f-ing stripped one of the fasteners for the Leer cap tracks today...

1040 is federal a tax form you file at the end of the year (doing your taxes).

1099 is for income you receive which has no taxes taken out. You would receive a 1099 for money paid as an independent contractor, interest income from investment accounts, and other misc income.

W-4 is what you (actually an employer) file to set the deductions from your pay

W-2 is what you receive from your employer at the end of the year showing your total income, taxes deducted, etc. You use this to file your state/federal taxes

You need to start paying attention. Make sure you file every year, even if you did not receive any income. Dad isn't going to file for you forever, easy to do it yourself. Don't let people tell you its complicated. It only becomes complicated when you start itemizing your deductions, have a family, own property and/or your own business.
