Just saying. I know a while back the mounting hardware was brought up. Some said they got some black grip knob things instead of regular bolts.

My first one came with the same bag @AWD_Jeff posted in that pic. A ziplock with regular bolts and nuts.

 

Yeah, I'm not sure why they would send different hardware. If there's something in particular you want, let me know and I'll communicate it to the manufacturer.

It’s more to advise others that don’t feeek out if you don’t get the black ones. I thought I was the fluke earlier but now it seems some others get that aswell

 

UPDATE: Several awnings and annexes were shipped today. Unfortunately, after work I was admitted back into the hospital. They want to keep me, at least, overnight. So I will update the rest of you regarding shipping. Anyone that submitted payment....your awning/annex has shipped.

UPDATE: Hey guys, back on my feet and back in the office. Everyone that has provided shipping payment has either shipped out or will be shipping out today. There are still a few of you that I have contacted regarding shipping but haven't heard back yet. Please get back to me so I can get you your long-awaited awning or annex. Thank you to all of you that have PMed your well wishes...I truly appreciate it!

 

Mine came in yesterday! The packing is absolutely demolished on each end for the awning.

I had to work last night, so I didn't have time to open it. I should have time tonight though, fingers crossed everything is ok! I'm optimistic, it looks like the box took the brunt of the damage.

 

You know, they arrive to me in that condition, I have my guys open them to make sure they're good inside. I redo the ends with massive amounts of tape so they don't get further damaged, and they still show up like that. Please check it to make sure it's ok as soon as you can. I'm 95% sure there's nothing wrong with it, but I'd like to be certain. Please give me an update when you can.
I wish these delivery companies would take a little bit more pride with regards to handling.

 

Hah! I did notice the massive amounts of tape. I always wonder with damage like this if it's from automated sorting or from a lack of caring from delivery personnel. I'm almost leaning towards the latter. I was fortunate they put this package on my porch; most of my deliveries end up on the stairs or sitting in the driveway getting rained on.

 

Does anyone with a Prinsu rack on a topper have theirs installed yet? I'm curious if the L brackets are going to be tall enough, even with them pointed up. I'm 6' even and it looks like it'll be touching my head unless I make taller brackets.

 

Mine was delivered today. I will post pics of the box once I get home. For now, I get to view the big ass box on my little 'Ring' doorbell app.

 

Upon further inspection, the box isn't too badly beat up







Checked the open holes and it seems that everything right inside is tightly wrapped and I don't believe I lost any pieces.

Since it's Monday, nofunday, it'll be at least the weekend, maybe Friday night until I can open everything. Perhaps earlier but will report back further once I crack it open.

 

Got mine all unboxed I see the L brackets but did not see any mounting hardware. Were they in a special place?

 

Mine were inside, I had to unzip the awning and take out the poles. I think they may have been in with the ground stakes.

 

They should be inside of the actual awning bag.
