I may have heard that around here a few times, and now I can see why! It’s as addicting as modding sleds, that’s for sure. Also more expensive, but relatively less likely to blow up your engine...

Ebay specials, passenger side fogs from time to time. Drivers side has always been dry as a bone. Gonna get the tacomabeast set once they go out of style. .lol

Did some paint work. Redid factory IFS skid and added BAMF LCA skids. I was told it would end up looking bad, but I dig it. Love it or hate it? Plan on getting a real skid plate later. Mall-flex

Added a D-ring to my tonneau pull strap. Whenever I had a load that was too big to fully close the shell, but not big enough to just let that sucker fly in the wind like a giant spoiler, I'd run a strap through the pull strap. I hated the tiny washer it was mounted with, I felt like it was going to rip out at any time.

Anybody know the best place to buy jba ucas? Or any promo codes for their website? Decided it's time for better ucas than stock. Thanks in advance.

    Changed the oil!
    DA3FABA6-F451-4F7C-B98A-24C94FC1450B.jpg

Ok so the first time I changed the oil I had a hell of a time getting the oil filter off and figured it was just the last guy using a wrench to tighten or something. But this time I had to do the ol hammer and screwdriver trick and I know that I hand tightened it last time. I’ve never had any other engine suck a filter on to a housing that bad. Guess I’ll be investing in a filter wrench. Has anyone else had this issue with the 4.0?

I did back in 1983 but not with the Tacoma. A filter wrench will solve your problem.

Did you put some oil on the filter gasket? If not they will cook themself to the base.

Looks good so far but good luck getting your truck inspected in VA if you install retrofits. :(
