I just got my 06 Tacoma two weeks ago from a small dealer in VT. The Break light came on shortly after getting it home, i check fluid level and filled it up, the light went off. 3 days later light is back on, Repeat process 1. Have filled the fluid 3 times already. Seems that my driver side mat has liquid on it, i think that it may be the Brake Fluid, is is possible for the fluid to leak into the cab?
    Any info would help
    thanks!

Going from memory, you could check the hoses going into the reservoir as the clamps may be loose and fluid is running down into the cab. I'd also check the area surrounding the break pedal to see if their are any visible leaks.

Check under the master to see if it's wet, and it could possibly be leaking from the master into the brake booster and then finding it's way into the cab. Could be an internal leak. How does the pedal feel?? Spongy or have a nice solid feel?

I had brake fluid leaking onto my floormat from the clutch pedal. Had to have the clutch master cylinder replaced. Do you have a warranty with the dealer? I would think you could get them to take care of it since you just bought it.

Exactly what I was thinking. The clutch shares its reservoir with the brake system.

The master cylinder can also leak into the vaccuum booster. Check the vac line for fluid. It's the line that comes off the inboard side of booster and goes to the intake. If wet replace the master, booster, and check valve on the vac line.
X2 on checking to see exactly where the fluid is coming from!

Did you get it at Durand Toyota? If so, I was looking at that same Silver TRD before I bought my Tacoma. Damn nice looking truck if it is the same one!
