Max has me looking at CB's now  I think this one would fit well in that little cubby to the right of the steering wheel.

Woah woah woah. I have nothing to do with cb. I thought you got that cb mount for a CB radio.

Bunch of maintenance for me this weekend. Hopefully installing that bar that @Fitzwilly so kindly sold to me. Also doing the aftermarket 3 switch pannel into the cubby hole for the 3rd gen conversion. Using the 3rd switch hole to put a keystone in there and I'll just be able to plug my mic into that when I want it and put it in my cubby when I don't.

And then there's all the zerk fittings on the control arms to hit + deal with the squeaky leaf pack. About to hit fall camping and fishing season at full force, so it's time. All while battling this cold thing. I'm a glutton for punishment

Well. I couldn't decide if I wanted the driver or passenger side mount, so I bought both  I figured one for HAM and one for CB :D

I think the one I get from you will be good enough and I'll save the mount until I decide if I want one strictly for the truck
Can I plug that into a CB antenna that's mounted on the hood?

And it's somebody's fault

    Cool
I bought two mounts, so I've got to have two radios right? :D

Now I'm in a dilemma. I was going to mount the brake controller in the center cubby. But now that I'll eventually (Meaning probably a month or so) end up with a mobile radio and want to mount it there I'm not sure where to mount things. :annoyed:

What about the cubby to the left of the wheel? The one with the door?

I have thought about getting an extra tray and doing this for my 43 :D

I'll have to see if the brake controller will fit in there. Still have to buy it. #soon.

Will need it the first of Oct.

If you don't use the useless penil holder slot thing, they make a diy kit to open that up and put a bracket there so it faces up. That's one option

If I get that Tacoma bed and make it into a trailer, I think I'll get one too just for my own peace of mind
I'm not to the point where I'm ready to cut anything that can't be put back to stock. The tray on the left can be replaced for $11. I don't mind cutting one of those up :D

A TM-D710ga isn't going to fit in there.

Guess I could always do one of those mounts that goes on the front seat bolt and out it to the right of the console. Add in a APRS dodad with it.

You could have a shell on your truck and a shell on the trailer. There's 2 down. lol
