    My Brother just called me and told me he's okay and what he's been hearing on the island is it will be a Cat 1 by Saturday . He told me the Trade winds are weakening the Hurricane

    He told me there still will be heavy rain , flooding and strong winds . He lives on a hill so very good drainage and his house has done very well with heavy rainfall . The flooding is the only worry right now and he will call me tomorrow this time to update me and also call me Saturday

    Since I talked to him a few hours ago the Weather channel has now issued a Hurricane Warning with now Cat 2 winds for Oahu and won't be downgraded to Cat 1 until it turns West from the most Northerly island of Niihau

    Good morning friends. My visit to the eye doctor resulted in a diagnosis of lattice degeneration. Not as bad as macular degeneration but does cause vision problems. Right eye has a microscopic tear in the lining. So far this week, I've found out that the arthritis is getting worse and now this. Isn't getting old grand?! I guess it's time for me to go out and buy a bucket hat and yellow cardigan cotton sweater to wear in the yard while I'm gardening. Not to mention very high waisted pants...
